ALLERGY

Our Allergy department serves patients 5 and older. We diagnose and treat allergies relating to the ear, nose and throat.
Specially trained nurses perform allergy testing upon the recommendation of one of our physicians. You will be asked to complete a survey to determine your specific problem areas and exposures. Intradermal skin testing, on the upper arm, will be performed to determine your sensitivity to inhalant antigens (pollens, dusts and molds), epidurals (cat, dog, feathers etc,) and some foods.
All patients being tested for allergies will receive education about chemical sensitivities and environmental controls. If your physician determines you would benefit from allergy injections, Oakdale Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic will prepare the allergy serum for you. We can administer these injections at our Robbinsdale location, or, for your convenience, we can provide the serum to your primary care doctor so you may receive the injections at your primary care clinic.
