By nature, I am a people person and a nurturer. As an undergraduate student I discovered audiology and I quickly realized it was a profession rooted in helping people but also combined my love of science. I believe communication skills are essential to building and maintaining relationships, so being able to help people communicate more effectively with the people that mean the most to them is very rewarding.

As an audiologist, I have enjoyed getting to know my patients and developing relationships with them. I enjoy seeing patients at all stages of life- my youngest patients are weeks old and my oldest patient is 102! My clinical areas of interest include hearing aid technology, electrophysiology, and central auditory processing disorders.

On a typical day off, you will find me outside or doing some type of family activity with my husband and two boys. I also enjoy reading, music, and trying new recipes.
