Doctor of Audiology

I love working with patients! I’ve found I can truly make a positive change in the lives of others and as a result, I’m rewarded with long-term relationships with my patients.

I have always wanted to work in health care. It was during an internship with a hearing aid manufacturer when I became interested in audiology. The more I learned about the technology, the more passionate I became about becoming an audiologist.

My favorite part of this career is that I really get to know my patients. Being diagnosed with hearing loss and then being fit with hearing aids is a process that is different for each person. I enjoying getting to know each patient and learning what will work best for their lifestyle and their unique needs. In the process, I’ve found I can truly make a positive change in the lives of others and I’m rewarded with long-term relationships with my patients. I truly can’t imagine myself doing anything else.

On my days off, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our family and friends. We love being outdoors kayaking, golfing, and walking our dog, Ella.
