As the New Year approaches, many of us will start to think about resolutions. In fact, about 60 percent of us admit that we make New Year’s resolutions but only about 8 percent of us are successful in achieving them. A recent survey of 2,000 people ranks the top 10 New Year’s resolutions.
- Diet or eat healthier (71 percent)
- Exercise more (65 percent)
- Lose weight (54 percent)
- Save more and spend less (32 percent)
- Learn a new skill or hobby (26 percent)
- Quit smoking (21 percent)
- Read more (17 percent)
- Find another job (16 percent)
- Drink less alcohol (15 percent)
- Spend more time with family and friends (13 percent)

Have your hearing checked
Maybe you’ve noticed you’re turning up the volume on the TV, asking people to repeat themselves, or straining to hear whenever there is background noise. Those are good signals that it is time for an assessment of your hearing.
Get tested for allergies
Allergies can start up at any age and present themselves in a variety of ways. You may have itching eyes, nasal congestion, sinus pressure or tenderness, post-nasal drip or other nagging symptoms. Allergy testing is fast and reliable and your first step to finding relief.
Get relief for your sinuses
Sinusitis, a condition where the sinuses become inflamed and swollen, is quite common. However, when symptoms last for at least 12 weeks, the chronic condition calls for a visit to a specialist. A thorough assessment is the best way to find an effective treatment that works for you.
